E-Lock Kickstand & Alarm
Quickly and easily activate a kickstand lock from your display or the Aventon app. Furthermore, whenever your bike is moved or tampered with, an alarm system will activate audio and visual alerts to deter theft.

Passcode and Keyless Battery
Create your own six input passcode using the control pads on the bike display. With a keyless battery system allowing you to remove your battery directly from your bike display, no need to keep track of another set of keys. All that's left to worry about is when you can ride next.

The Abound LR ships as a Class II ebike, with pedal assist and throttle. The Abound will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area that only allows Class I E-bike or throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it's OK to ride your E-bike in light rain. It won't be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your E-bike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don't use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your E-bike. *Max range determined using PAS 1 on flat terrain with a rider weight of 160 lb.*
