It has an extended EVA grip for comfortably holding the pole lower down, and the women's grip is slightly smaller in diameter than the men's version. The Atomic BCT Touring pole is a strong, reliable, go-to pole for all types of touring. If you’re into touring it’s essential to have a robust, reliable, all-purpose pole in your locker, and the Atomic BCT Touring pole is exactly that. It’s made with 4* Aluminum Pole Technology with a high tensile strength that makes it extra durable. It’s a telescopic pole (110 – 135cm) so you can adjust the length to suit you and your climb, while the EVA touring grip is ergonomically shaped for more comfort, and extra-long so you can grip the pole lower down when climbing. It also comes with a pre-shaped and padded lightweight Touring Strap, a smaller and lighter touring basket, and a steel tip that offers great hold in all snow conditions.

The Atomic Backland FR is a telescopic ski pole to go with our Bent Chetler and wider Backland skis. It’s been designed and developed with the help of freeski legend Chris Benchetler. A good freeride pole needs to keep you light, nimble and focused on the job. So we’ve made it from lightweight aluminum alloy, we’ve given it a bike-inspired FR grip that won’t slip and an 85mm powder basket for better flotation. But in the backcountry a good pole needs to do more than help you ski well, so we’ve built-in a handy ski-binding screwdriver for adjustments and repairs on the move.
