Insulated baselayers? Yep, that’s a thing. The Puffer Pant is a fleece, three-quarter-length long underwear bottom. It’s made panels of warm micropuff insulation on the upper half of the pants, where you could use a little extra coverage when riding cold chairlifts or touring on a frigid day, and tough gridded fleece everywhere else. The length hits just above the ski boot so you don’t have layers bunched up in your boot. These pants also do double duty as loungewear in a backcountry hut or on a powder-chasing road trip.

It was a bitter-cold storm day at the resort and a skier was wearing traditional long underwear bottoms—and she was cold.
