The bikes listed here were part of the Allspeed Rental fleet. They are used bikes.
- Each rental bike can be reserved for purchase with a $500 non-refundable deposit payment made through our website AND the completion of THIS PURCHASE AGREEMENT.
- The remaining rental purchase balance must be paid on or before pickup.
- The reserved rental bike product will be tuned by a mechanic and presented in good working condition for pickup AFTER October 11th, 2023.
- The last day for payment/pickup in Carrabassett Valley is October 14th.
- If you are picking up in Portland or Bethel, the last day for payment/pickup is October 21st, 2023.
- The bike you purchase may not be located at your desired pickup location. If you are unable to retrieve it, you may have to wait up to fifteen business days for the bike to be transferred to your desired pickup location.
- If you miss the final payment date, you will lose the right to purchase the rental product AND you will lose the $500 non-refundable deposit.
- The sale of the rental product is final and it is not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Please take careful note of the following:
- Rental bikes do not come with a warranty.
- Rental bikes will show signs of use. They are in good working order and are sold in “as is” condition.
- Rental bikes are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

FAQ For Rental Bike Sales
- Does the rental bike come with a warranty?
- Rental bikes come with NO warranty because you are the second owner and you are buying a used bike. There is no warranty on either the rental bike or the rental bike parts.
- In what condition are the rental bikes?
- Rental bikes are in “AS IS” condition. Allspeed guarantees that all rental bikes will be in good working order and all parts will be functional upon the final pickup. There may be cosmetic issues such as scuffs and scratches on the product and/or parts.
- Can I see the rental bikes?
- Rental bikes are at any of three store locations and will continue to be rented until the middle of October. Each individual bike is not available to see.
- I see a rental bike on the list I like, can you hold it for me?
- No rentals can be “held” over the phone/email, all purchases must happen online or in person. PLEASE DO NOT CALL US ASKING TO HOLD A BIKE.
- Do I get free adjustments for a year like you do with new bike sales?
- No free adjustments, sorry.
- I rented a bike from you, can I apply my rental fee towards the purchase of a rental?
- Sorry, no rental credits can be applied to a rental purchase.
- How do I purchase a rental bike?
- Pay a $500 deposit fee via purchase on our website and sign THIS PURCHASE AGREEMENT.
- What forms of payment are accepted?
- Credit cards or PayPal are accepted on our website. In-store we accept credit, cash, or check (no Paypal in-store).
- What if I buy a rental bike and I want to return it?
- The sale of the rental product is final and it is not eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Can I pick up a purchased rental bike at a different location than where it is located?
- We can transport a bike between stores but please be advised that you may have to wait up to fifteen business days in order to have a bike transferred to your desired pickup location.
- How can I see where a bike is currently located?
- Select the size you are looking for, then click "Find a store near you" to open location page.
- When can I pick up my purchased rental bike?
- Rental bikes will be available after October 11, ending October 14 at Allspeed Carrabassett Valley. Final payment is due October 21.
- Do rental bikes come with pedals?
- Rental bikes do not come with pedals.
